The Board Inn is located a matter of yards away and is well worth frequenting during your stay in Whitby. The Duke of York - Another warm and friendly pub serving good food and within yards of the cottage. The Magpie Cafe - Perhaps the most renowned of Whitby's fish restaurants, the Magpie Cafe offers a fantastic variety of traditional fish and chip style dishes Cosa Nostra - This italian restaurant is ideal for a celebration night out with beautiful food in a lovely restaurant. Moutreys deserves an honourable mention for its wholesome food and generous portions. The restaurant has a warm, relaxed atmosphere and offers good choice for the whole family. Longkings Chinese Restaurant - Located on West Cliff near to the family attractions and located in the Metropol Hotel. Longkings is a family run restaurant that offers an extensive menu of excellent Chinese dishes. Passage to India - A must for the Indian food lovers, serving some wonderful indian dishes in lovely surroundings. Attractions Whitby Golf Club - We are pleased to have an arrangement for a 10% reduction in green fees for guests of Poppy Cottage.
